I

I know I’m not to pick favorites, however I might have to with this wedding. I arrived in Holland, Michigan, my first time there, and immediately went to the rehearsal dinner. The Sissing and Vandebunte families made me feel so welcomes from the very start. I chatted with family and friends and learned about their love, something that was set up by Mariah’s sister and brother in law. Mariah and Josh met on a mission trip when they were younger, and reconnected when they were both back in Michigan after college. I am always a little nervous if I haven’t met both of the couple getting married, but these two were easy. They were so flippin in love my job was easy. The backyard gardens of a local gardener were stunning, the details – mostly done by Mariah – were beautiful, and the love of every person at the wedding was so so so evident. Too many happy tears to count – when Mariah first saw herself in her mother’s wedding dress, when her father first saw her in her mother’s wedding dress, when Josh saw Mariah walking down the aisle for the first time, every speech given, and a number of times throughout the receiving line. There was an indescribable joy that carried throughout the day and surrounded these two and it was incredible to watch and capture. Enjoy this gorgeous day of these kind, good-hearted, in-love people that made my job almost too easy.
